There are many holidays and celebrations in the United States .Holidays and celebrations are special days for fun and remembering the past. Halloween is celebrated in the United States as well as all over the world. Origin. Halloween goes back to Celtic times. They built bonfires to keep away evil spirits and bring confort to soul to purgatory. The Romans turned the night ot 31st October into Halloween.

Halloween as we know it today is celebrated by many people specially in USA and Britain and also it is celebrated in a number of countries around the world.

Traditions include costume parties, "trick or treat", pranks and games.
